Dr. Nguyen migrated from Vietnam to the U.S. with her parents in 1990 at the age of 18. With her father being a linguistic professor in Vietnam and the U.S., she understood the importance of education at an early age. This understanding laid the groundwork for her focus and determination in achieving her goals. In 1998, at the age of 26, she graduated from University of Southern California (USC) with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Working under a corporate setting for 20 years, Dr. Nguyen has acquired the skills necessary to encompass comprehensive retail pharmacy, as well as individualized and in-depth therapy. Thusly, community pharmacy has always been her focus and passion. It is her warm, kind and approachable attitude that patients are drawn to and trust. She finds it spiritually rewarding to keep her patients on a healthy path. She's bringing this valuable skill set into her own practice at New Hope Pharmacy. She's excited to have the freedom to spend more time in getting to know her patients and offering them a more personalized service.

Outside of the pharmacy, Dr. Nguyen is raising her only son who is currently a high school senior. She tries her best to imbed in him the importance of education, hard work and empathy, with the hope that one day he will take over her practice. Additionally, in her free time, Dr. Nguyen pursues her other interests of cooking and traveling. She loves to prepare and share wonderful dining experiences with her friends and family.
